The idea of having our own wine originated, as usual, in Jaro and Janka's heads. The choice of winery was clear. Tokaj is the most famous wine region, which, in addition to the birth of royal beverage, also offers, for example, tuff cellars that hide the treasures of eternal youth.
Since Strachan Cuvée is being prepared for the Strachan Group, which also includes Jaro Strachan's siblings, they all went to the vineyards in Veľká Tŕňa for a tasting. Mr. Ostrožovič prepared 5 unique samples for them. They tasted, scored, combined and thought about the samples until they finally came to a conclusion that you can taste today.
Type: white, dry wine - 12.5% vol. 0.75 l
Variety: Furmint – 60%, Lipovina – 30%, Yellow nutmeg – 10%
Taste: fresh, light, reductive, with a subtle hint of vanilla
Aging: short-term aging in new oak barrels
