In the picturesque village of Ždiar in Strednica, a legend dating back to 1922 is being brought to life. On the historic foundations of a wooden goods cableway, Strachan Resort is building a new, unique complex called Šodronka, where the past meets the present against the backdrop of the iconic views of the Belianske Tatras. You can look forward to an interactive museum of cableways and Goral culture, an artisan bakery serving fresh sourdough bread, and a restaurant where traditional recipes are given a modern twist.
Šodronka is a place for experiences and perfect relaxation. The restaurant’s unique atmosphere is enhanced by a historic ski lift right inside the building and a stylish Champagne bar. Full year-round facilities are, of course, provided – you’ll find a sports shop, ski and e-bike hire, and a range of original local souvenirs.
