Day 1:
Check-in: Welcome to Chalet Strachan! Upon arrival in Ždiar, check in at the reception of our Wellness Pension*** Strachan, and then you can leave everything to us. We’ll comfortably take you and your luggage straight to your apartment, where your winter holiday begins.
Private wellness: As soon as you arrive, you’ll have time all to yourself. Enjoy private wellness facilities right at Chalet Strachan – a Finnish sauna with panoramic views of the Belianske Tatras and an outdoor hot tub under the open sky. After all, what could be better than a combination of warmth, winter and stunning views?
An evening of experiences: Head to the Wellness Pension*** Strachan in the evening for a delicious dinner. If there’s a themed evening taking place, you can look forward to a special menu, music and a cosy atmosphere – the perfect way to round off your first day.
Day 2:
Today, it’s entirely up to you where you go. As a registered guest, you have completely free ski passes to both the Ski Center Strachan and the Ski Center Strednica, so you can choose between skiing, cross-country skiing or a trip to the Bachledová Valley. And when you return after a full day out, you can choose whether to relax in your own wellness area at the Chalet or enjoy the facilities at the Wellness Pension*** Strachan or the Grand Hotel**** Bachledka Strachan.
Option A: Since you’re staying right on the slopes of the Ski Center Strachan, it would be a shame not to make the most of it. Enjoy a full day’s skiing, hone your skills at the Strachan Ski School, hire some kit or try a retro sledge ride on straw sacks. If you’d like to experience the slopes in a slightly different way, go for a ride on a snow groomer. For lunch, check out the Medvedí brloh Strachan or Bufet Terasa. And in the evening? That’s all about fun – at the Medvedí brloh Strachan, you can look forward to a regular programme of entertainment, music and various events. You can look forward to the Laser & Ski Show, Alan Murin, DJ Milan Lieskovský and René Rendy, for example.
Option B: Enjoy skiing in the Belianske Tatras at the Ski Center Strednica and take in some slightly different views. After skiing, make sure you leave time for a proper après-ski in Šodronka. Discover the first immersive museum of its kind in Slovakia, stop by the bakery, restaurant or Champagne bar, and round off the day in style. As a registered guest staying at the resort, you’ll also get a 30% discount on museum entry.
Option C: If you’re more into cross-country skiing than downhill skiing, head to the groomed trails at Strednica or plan a longer route via Spišská Magura to Bachledová Valley.
Option D: Head to Bachledová Valley and choose whatever takes your fancy – the Treetop Walk, a day’s skiing at Bachledka Ski&Sun, or an evening stroll amongst thousands of fairy lights in the Enchanted Landscape. You can round off the day with dinner at the Grand Hotel**** Bachledka Strachan and a visit to the spa. As a guest at Chalet Strachan, you have free access to the hotel’s wellness centre, so you can treat yourself to a themed sauna ritual or a relaxing massage.

Day 3:
FreshTrack: This time, enjoy the last few turns first thing in the morning. Head out to FreshTrack and treat yourself to some time on the slopes before the day really gets going. As you’re staying right on the slopes of the Strachan Ski Centre, it would be a shame not to make the most of this opportunity.
Breakfast delivered to your apartment: After a morning’s skiing, return to your apartment and treat yourself to breakfast without having to go anywhere. You can order breakfast to be delivered directly to your apartment for an additional charge – if it’s not included in the price of your stay, simply book it a day in advance.
A souvenir from Strachan Resort: Visit our reception and take home a bottle of Strachanovica, Strachan liqueur or some original souvenirs.
