Day 1:
Check-in: Stay right next to the Bachledka Ski&Sun slope and start your winter holiday without any unnecessary rush.
A winter walk through the treetops: After checking in, head out to enjoy your first winter views on the Treetop Walk. The snow-covered Belianske Tatras look even better from above, and if you visit on a Wednesday, Friday or Saturday during the ‘Enchanted Landscape’ event, you can also enjoy an evening stroll amongst thousands of twinkling lights.
Sauna ritual: After your winter walk, it’s time for the most enjoyable part – the warmth, the scent of the sauna and a moment just for yourself. At 5.00 PM, treat yourself to a themed sauna ritual (also at 6.00 PM on Saturdays) or choose a relaxing massage.
An evening of experiences: And when darkness falls, head straight to the hotel restaurant to enjoy good food, music and the atmosphere of a themed evening. If you’ve still got some energy left, the evening can continue at the Medvedí brloh Strachan.
Day 2:
Today, it’s up to you. As a registered guest, you have completely free ski passes for two resorts – the Ski Center Strachan and the Ski Center Strednica – as part of your stay. And if you want to give your car a break too, leave it at home and take the ski bus, which runs throughout Ždiar all winter long.
Option A: Strap on your skis and enjoy a day right on the slopes at the Ski Centrum Strachan. If you need some help with your first turns, the Ski School Strachan and ski rental shop are here to help, or why not try a retro sledge ride on straw sacks? If you’d like to experience the slopes in a slightly different way, hop on a snow groomer ride. Stop for lunch at Medvedí brloh Strachan or Bufet Terasa, and in the evening you can extend your skiing – the only night-time skiing in Ždiar awaits you, along with a regular music programme at Medvedí brloh Strachan. You can look forward to, for example, the Laser & Ski Show, DJ Milan Lieskovský, Alan Murin and René Rendy.
Option B: Treat yourself to a day’s skiing with views of the Belianske Tatras at the Ski Centre Strednica, followed by a proper après-ski session in Šodronka. Discover the first immersive museum of its kind in Slovakia, visit the bakery, restaurant or Champagne bar, and round off the day in style. As a registered guest staying at the hotel, you’ll also receive a 30% discount on admission to the museum.
Option C: If you’re more into cross-country skiing than downhill skiing, head to the groomed trails at Strednica or plan a longer route via Spišská Magura to Bachledová Valley.

Day 3:
Last morning: There’s no need to rush off just yet. Treat yourself to a hearty breakfast accompanied by the pleasant sounds of live piano music, savour your final moments at Bachledka, and then head out for one last run on the slopes at Bachledka Ski&Sun – literally just a few steps from the restaurant.
A little souvenir from Strachan Resort: Visit our reception and pick up a bottle of Strachanovica, Strachan liqueur or some original souvenirs to take home with you.
